Anastasia Nilskaya
Anastasia Nilskaya was born in Saint Petersburg to the family of artists. Graduated from the State Academy of Theater Arts. Anastasia Nilskaya studied under the artists Valentina Efimovna Gerasimova and Anatoly Savelievich Zaslavsky, received the profession of animator artist from Yuri Borisovich Norshtein.
Her great-grandfather Otto Ludwigovich Ignatovich (1857-1915) was a St. Petersburg architect, painter and archaeologist, great-great-grandfather Maximilian Vladimirovich Nesytov (1888-1910) - a talented artist and sculptor. Father of Anastasia, Victor Nikolaevich Malyshev - paleontologist, restorer, art historian of military historical costume, and mother A. F. Kochubei - artist, poster artist. As Anastasia recalls, "at home, all the books were painted from cover to cover, even when I was not even two."
The artist does not class herself with any trends in contemporary art, for her creativity remains an expression of herself and the surrounding reality through the prism of her individual perception of the world, the preservation of her personal view of events in the city.
The artist participated in many collective exhibitions of St. Petersburg artists. The works of Anastasia Nilskaya are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
