Dmitry Katov was born in 1971 in the picturesque town of Navoloki, Ivanovo Region, on the banks of the Volga River. Passion for drawing and creativity manifested itself from an early age.

After studying at the Moscow University of Culture and Arts with a degree in design, he devoted all his free time to creativity and painting.

He constantly experimented with style and colours. The artist also workes with stained glass in the Tiffany style and bas-reliefs sculptures.
