Lisa Zaretskaya was born in 2003 in Russia. She has been interested in painting since her junior school days. When Lisa was 10 years old, she moved to Taiwan with her mother. She studies in a Chinese school in Taipei and this year she becomes a senior high school student.

Six years ago she began to study at the Hippopotamus Painting Art School in Taipei. Recently (in 2018) the emerging artist's interest has been captured by Chinese painting. Lisa began to study Traditional Chinese painting technique and her recent artworks are in this style.
