Is a painting of a female purple crowned fairywren while she is not a showy as the male, she is a beautiful bird in her own right. These gorgeous flighty little birds live in some Northern parts of Australia, certain subspecies are listed as endangered due to fires, the trampling of riparian vegetation by cattle & sheep, predation by feral cats and the replacement of habitat grasses by noxious weeds.
